These photos are the second set of stills from our motion picture lookbook.
In case you missed the video check it out here, and the first set of stills here.

Let's talk about how rad this dress is.  So rad it's bad...in a good way, or naughty way I guess.  The dress is by Telltale Hearts (who is also my awesome new blog sponsor!).  Telltale Hearts has an insanely awesome online Vintage store and a shop in LA that I dream of visiting one day.  Their selection of Vintage treasures is incredibly well thought out, as interesting details can be found on every single item they offer.  Check out their super cool Vintage online shop here.

The concept and look for this outfit was heavily influenced by the girly grunge fashion of the 90s pioneered by the queen of grunge herself, Courtney Love.  This Vintage dress was the perfect starting point for the girly grunge look.  It's silhouette is short and flirty, and the knit fabric allows it to be effortlessly cool.  The sweet, soft floral print on the dress is contrasted by tiny cut outs allover making it instantly edgy and unique.  The cut out trend is starting to blow up, and you can see me in another cut out dress here.

My amazing find at Crossroads Trading Co.--the black leather studded  vest, was the perfect layering piece to give the look a more rock 'n' roll vibe.  Adding black pieces everywhere else definitely helped deepen the mood of this look.

And yes, these photos/this part of the motion picture lookbook were filmed at a cemetery.
Creepy, romantic or dark and twisted?...I'll let you be the judge!
